Basics of Moving around in PowerPressed
Basic Windows Shortcuts
| • | Most applications have more than one way to do the same thing. One user may be more comfortable with accessing commands from the keyboard, while another may like to do as much as possible with the mouse; most people use a combination of both. |
| • | Using the different access points for PowerPressed, here is an example of 3 different ways to invoke the function to Save As and Compress a PowerPoint Presentation using PowerPressed : |
Keyboard:
ALT+P, E
Mouse:
Click on PowerPressed Menu , then Click on Save As New Compressed Presentation
-OR-
Click the PowerPressed button on the PowerPressed Toolbar .
Toolbar
| • | You can quickly choose the most common application commands by using the mouse to click buttons on toolbars. For example, to Compress a PowerPoint Presentation file, you click the PowerPressed button on the PowerPressed Toolbar. |
| • | To see more information about a toolbar button, place your mouse cursor over it. A ToolTip for the toolbar button appears on the screen. |
Menus
| • | Related commands are grouped together on the menus. For example, all of the PowerPressed functions are listed on the PowerPressed Menu. |
