4.In the Compress and Save As Window, select the level of compression you would like applied to your presentation (Low, Medium, High or Custom).

(We strongly recommend that you start with the Low setting)

For more information on custom settings, see Compression Options for PowerPressed

5.The program defaults to Compress this presentation. If you would like to compress a batch of files instead select the Compress multiple files in a folder option and press the Browse button to open the folder containing your presentations.

6.Your compressed presentation(s) will be saved with a new filename (which is the original filename plus a suffix). The default suffix is _PowerPressed but this can be changed easily by using the options menu.

Notes1 Note: Your original presentation will not be altered!

7.The Target Folder section shows the target file path for the compressed presentation(s) and defaults to creating the optimized copy in the same directory as the original file.

If you would like to change the destination path use the Change button.

8.Now hit the Compress... button

9.The PowerPressed Progress window will appear.

PPProgress003

10.Thumbnails of each slide are shown as they are processed.

11.When PowerPressed has finished optimizing your presentation the compression results and time taken are displayed as well as the file sizes before and after compressing.

PPProgressComplete001

12.Choose the OK button to continue.

13.Your compressed presentation is now open and can be run as normal.

The original presentation is untouched and remains in its original location.

Notes1 Note:

The Save As New Compressed Presentation functions (Menus and Toolbar Buttons) are only enabled if a presentation is open.

If PowerPressed does not have an active license the Registration Window will appear. For help with activating PowerPressed click here click here
